What does StaffSuite do?
StaffSuite is your Agent of Record for remote contractors in the Philippines. You invite your contractors; each one joins, adds where they want to be paid and signs an independent contractor agreement. You record what each person is owed, in pesos or US dollars, and StaffSuite sends it and records the transfer. You and your contractors can see every payment and its status.
How will payments be sent?
Once we open, during early access, our team sends each payment to the contractor’s GCash, Maya or bank account and marks it sent with the transfer reference, usually within one business day. Automatic InstaPay and PESONet transfers are coming next.
What does it cost?
$9 per active contractor per month. An active contractor is someone on your staff list during the month. There is no StaffSuite fee per payment; your bank or e-wallet may charge its own transfer fees. Payments recorded in US dollars are converted to pesos at a disclosed spread of 1.25%. What does the contractor agreement cover?
Each contractor signs an independent contractor agreement written for Philippine law, electronically in StaffSuite. It sets out that they work independently, decide how they work and when (within any availability agreed for the job), use their own tools, and how they are paid. StaffSuite keeps the exact text each person signed.
Who owns the work my contractors do?
Under the agreement, work made for you, including code, designs and content, transfers to you once it has been paid for. Contractors keep the tools and know-how they already had, and give you a licence to use them as part of the work.
Who handles the contractors’ taxes?
Contractors are independent professionals and file their own taxes with the BIR. StaffSuite keeps a record of every payment they receive. Quarterly tax filing kits are coming.

How is contractor data protected?
Payout details and tax numbers are encrypted, each company sees only its own people, and a password reset or a removed login ends that person’s sessions straight away. See our security page for details.
