Getting started, payments and contractors
How do I get started?
During early access, every company is set up through a consultation rather than self-service signup. Tell us who you work with and how you pay them today. If StaffSuite fits, we set up your company account and you invite your contractors.
How long does onboarding take?
It depends mostly on how quickly your contractors join. Once your account is set up, each contractor gets a link, joins with their mobile number, adds where they want to be paid and signs their agreement. We will give you an estimate for your team during the consultation.
What do you need from us to onboard contractors?
From your company: your company details and who on your team will manage contractors. For each contractor: their name and mobile number or email address. Contractors add their own payout details and tax number when they join, and sign their independent contractor agreement in StaffSuite.
How do contractors get paid, and how quickly?
You record what each person is owed, in pesos or US dollars. Once we open, during early access, our team sends each payment by hand to the contractor’s GCash, Maya or bank account, usually within one business day, and marks it sent with the transfer reference. Automatic InstaPay and PESONet transfers are coming next.
What about the contractors’ taxes?
Contractors are independent professionals and file their own taxes with the BIR. StaffSuite takes no fee from what they are paid and keeps a record of every payment they receive, which they can see in their account. Quarterly tax filing kits are coming.
