Why we exist
Companies outside the Philippines increasingly depend on Filipino engineering, creative, support and operations talent. Working with that talent directly is where the friction starts: informal arrangements leave it unclear what each side agreed to, and the contractor is left with no record of the income they earned.
The payment side is no better. International wires often carry fees on both ends and take days to clear, and paying people through personal accounts and peer-to-peer apps can get those accounts flagged.
StaffSuite sits between the two. Each contractor signs an independent contractor agreement with StaffSuite, acting for your company. You record what each person is owed, and we send it to their GCash, Maya or bank account and record the transfer, so both sides have the same record. During early access our team sends each payment by hand; automatic transfers and one consolidated invoice per pay cycle are coming next.
Where we are today
Preview. HIPSTAFF ASIA TECHNOLOGIES INC. is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Its updated BIR registration, city business permit and bank account are being completed. Until they are, StaffSuite Asia is not open for business: we do not charge fees, sign client agreements or receive client money, and every company, contractor and payment on the platform is test data, used to check that each workflow works before our first client.
Once we open, StaffSuite Asia starts in early access. Every company is set up through a consultation, and our team sends each payment by hand, usually within one business day. We would rather tell you that than have you discover it after signing.
StaffSuite Asia is operated by HIPSTAFF ASIA TECHNOLOGIES INC., a corporation organized under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
How we operate
Three commitments that shape how the platform is built.
Contractors are paid what was recorded
Money a company sends for its contractors is for those contractors. We send each payment as recorded, with no StaffSuite fee taken from it; payments recorded in US dollars are converted to pesos at a disclosed spread.
We administer, we don't advise
We build the contracting and payout infrastructure and produce the documentation. We are not your lawyers or your tax advisers, and we will tell you when a question belongs with someone who is.
Built in the Philippines
The team is Philippine-based. The banks and e-wallets our contractors use are the ones we use ourselves.
